Where East Looks West: Success in English in Goa and on the Konkan Coast published by Multilingual Matters. In this work, Prof. Kurzon examines the success in the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) among Konkani speakers (who live in Goa and on the Konkan coast of India), who have constantly achieved the highest average grade in the world in the test.
