Scientific biography: I got my Ph.D. from the University of Haifa in 2002. My dissertation is entitled Mapped and Unmapped in the Poetry of Elizabeth Bishop. I have been teaching at Haifa University, Gordon College of Education, and other colleges for over 20 years. I taught various writing and literature courses, such as: Introduction to Poetry, Survey of 20th Century English Literature, Confessional Poetry, The Construction of Identity in Literature, Creative Writing, and More. I have taken part in international conferences presenting papers on Bishop, Romantic Poetry (Wordsworth), and the resistance poetry of Audre Lorde. I have also published papers on the short stories of Susan Sontag and on the Poetry of Elizabeth Bishop. In the last years, I have been teaching courses on Hebrew poetry at Gordon College.
