For a block quotation of dialogue, include the author’s last name and page number for citation, in parentheses, one space after and indent the entire block. Here is an example:

In Fences, the main characters use simple and direct language and repeat each other’s wording in ways that enable the audience to understand them clearly.

CORY: I was just getting ready to do my chores now.

TROY: Your first chore is to help me with this fence on Saturday. Everything else come after that. Now get that saw and cut them boards. (Wilson 31)
