Scientific biography: I am a doctoral student in the English Language and Literature department at the University of Haifa, and a teaching assistant for the course Survey IV. Since 2019, I am a recipient of the Rotenstreich Scholarship for outstanding Ph.D. students in the humanities. In my dissertation, supervised by Professor Noam Flinker, I use family theories, such as Salvador Minuchin’s structural family theory, to explain the interdependency of character relationships in Milton’s Paradise Lost. The ultimate goal of my project is to offer a humanistic reading of the poem, consistent with Milton’s monism.
Fields of research: early modern poetry, renaissance poetry, early modern drama, religious poetry, metaphysical poetry, family theories, feminist theories, psychoanalysis, gender studies, biblical studies, 20th-century literature, war poetry, post-colonialism.
