The exam consists of three topics. Candidates are required to choose ONE of them, and write an essay of about 600 words (2 ½ pages).
You should bring your identity card to the exam, and a dictionary (but NOT an electronic dictionary).

Everyone who has applied to the Department of English Language and Literature may take the exam without registering beforehand. Candidates will not be notified of the exam by letter.
The results of the exam will be published on the university website only.

After the results have been published, candidates may not look at their exam booklet, nor appeal the grade.
